Every recipe that begins with “Slow Cooker – ” should just replace it with “Easy – “. Because a slow cooker is a lazy / busy / incompetent person’s best friend.
This recipe looked pretty good, but didn’t have enough flavor components in it to satisfy me, therefore I added the usual complement of herbs and spices usually found in stifado to make it tastier. Because stifado is awesome. Namely: 4 whole cloves, a cinnamon stick, 2 bay leaves, 2 tbsp red wine vinegar, 1 tsp sugar.
This recipe has 2 steps. Since it was Saturday and I actually had better things to do, I didn’t even do step 1.
It was delicious.
